The fact of the matter is, I don’t see how we, as a society, will be able to solve the climate change issue if we are unwilling to make personal sacrifices, whether they be financial or convenience wise.  It is, after all, our actions that created such a crisis.  It would logically follow then to solve such a crisis we would have to restrict those actions that created the crisis in the first place.  Yes, carbon taxes suck.  But you know what sucks more?  The destruction of our planet.  The destruction of our planet in which our children and future generations are supposed to live in.
